Vintage Clear Glass Pedestal Compote Bowl UV Reactive Green Glow 7.5”
Unmarked
25.00 $
Description
Vintage clear glass pedestal compote featuring a wide round bowl, decorative stepped stem, and flared footed base. The glass displays a bright green fluorescence under UV/black light, as shown in the photos. Because several types of glass additives can fluoresce, I would advertise it as UV reactive unless uranium content has been independently confirmed. Approximate measurements: * Height: about 7 * Bowl diameter: approximately 7.5 * Wide pedestal foot for stability The vertical lines visible through the stem/base appear consistent with mold/manufacturing seams, not necessarily cracks. Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition with light surface wear/scratches consistent with age and use. I do not see any obvious major chips or breaks in the photos. Please review all pictures closely for exact condition. Great piece for: * UV-reactive glass collections * Vintage glass displays * Candy or fruit bowl * Dessert/trifle serving * Retro kitchen décor Item specifics * Type: Compote / Pedestal Bowl * Material: Glass * Color: Clear * Features: UV Reactive * Shape: Round * Pattern: Solid * Finish: Glossy * Brand: Unbranded * Vintage: Yes * Production Style: Pressed/Molded Glass * Theme: Vintage Glassware * Original/Reproduction: Unknown
